Mounting AR500 Steel Gongs & Targets
There are many ways to mount AR500 Steel Gongs & Targets. We offer a variety of sizes, shapes and holes for mounting. We also sell mounts!
A very basic way to mount gongs for shooting is to use a shepherds hook, found in many garden centers. Simply push the shepherds hook into the ground and hang the gong! Our gongs with a 1/2″ circular hole work great for this purpose. You can find them here: Ar500 Steel Gongs

In addition to our gongs made with a 1/2″ mounting hole, we offer AR500 gongs and targets with hook mount holes and 1/2″ carriage bolt holes. Our hook mount hole gongs are a great option. They are easy to set up and tear down. They also allow you to quickly change the side of the target, extending the life of the AR500 steel. Our carriage bolt hole AR500 gongs and targets go great with our Angle mounts. Mounting the steel target on an angle helps to deflect the splatter downward and lessens the impact on the target.
