The Superior Ideas 2×4 Angled Target Hanger Mount Combo has a unique design that allows the target to hang at a 17-18 degree angle.
Angled AR500 targets lessen the impact of bullets. This can help reduce pitting when using high velocity rifles, increasing the longevity of your targets. You can also flip the targets over for a clean shooting surface.
Gong is precision cut using a CNC plasma cutter with water submersion to maintain the strength of the steel.
Includes 6”x11” USPA/IPSC A Zone 3/8″ AR500 Steel Gong with center mount hole and 2×4 mount, 1/2″x 2″ carriage bolt and nut. All hardware is grade 8.
Target is 6”x11”. Strike Plate is Unpainted. 2×4 stand and mount are painted.
2×4 angled mount is made of 3/16″ steel with a 1/4″ steel mounting bracket. The angle mount fits snugly over a 2×4. A Zone AR500 gong bolts on in front of the mount, protecting it.
The target is made from 3/8-inch thick AR-500 steel.

When using steel targets safe shooting distances are as follows: Handguns — 15 yards or greater; Rifles — 100 yards or greater. Steel targets should never be shot with a 50 BMG or steel core bullets. Any bullet with steel in jacket could dimple AR500 when shot at close range. If bullet projectile is magnetic it contains steel. BB, pellet and airsoft guns should not be used. They will bounce back.
